Right now there”s beetles & spiderwebs everywhere. Here’s one tip, mix 1/2 pint of water with 10 drops of peppermint essential oil. Spray this mixture onto the webs. Any small hole allows these nasty critters an entry point. Fill the gaps around water taps, holes, and pipes with expanding foam.

Plant: Bulbs (iris), cacti (all types).

Fertilize: Trees, shrubs, and vines with ammonium sulfate (avoid frost-tender).
