Water: Adjust drip system for winter season. Allow citrus trees to dry out between watering. Plant: Herbs, deciduous fruit trees (peach, apricot or fig), salvia, penstemon, and primrose.Prune: Jasmine, myrtle, and Texas Rangers. Fertilize: Deciduous fruit trees, citrus, and shrubs. Frost Control: Place styrofoam cups on columnar cacti. Cover citrus trees on nights below freezing. Harvest: Citrus trees between now and March. Remember the longer the fruit stays on the tree, the sweeter they become. |
